To use, simply place your thumb on the lid and off you go - chopping, mixing and blending ingredients with the stainless steel multi-purpose blade. It's great for chopping onions, garlic, dressings, sauces, breadcrumbs and dough. You can even make whole recipes like edamame hummus or pesto. Choose between two speeds with a pulse function for coarse or fine results. If you need to add liquid ingredients, such as oil, you can use the drizzle hole in the lid to add them without interrupting the process. The lid, bowl and blade are all dishwasher safe and the motor base is easy to wipe clean. The blade is simply stored in the bowl and the cable is rolled up under the base. Made in Germany
